The 15th Annual Tall City Invitational is an increasingly popular event that aims to expand participation in the sport of cross country for the young men and women of Midland with the ultimate hope of empowering an entire community towards a choice of continuous character development and a life long pursuit of health & fitness. By hosting this meet in our own backyard, we are providing a firsthand platform for our local athletes to showcase their enriched athletic, social and emotional skills & abilities while receiving the support and cheers from us; their family, friends, and community. With a long-standing reputation as a reliably well-run event with competitive events for multiple divisions, TCI has solidified its place as one of the largest and most anticipated meets of the season in the West Texas. In fact, the 14th Annual TCI event in 2023 set a new TCI meet record with 1,097 high school and junior high athletes from across the region competing at Midland’s very own Hogan Park and the Sibley Nature Trails.

Awards: 

- Top 20 finishers in each division receive medals.

 - Team Champion medals for HS division

 - Plaques for 1st and 2nd place teams in each division

 - Lead and Trail vehicles

 - The nature trail path portion of the course is too narrow for coaches and spectators...only athletes and guide vehicles are allowed. There will be course monitors and a timer at the 1 mile mark and the course is very well marked.
